Buying Group Experience
This product was designed to enhance collaborative purchasing among organizations within the same industry. This innovative solution enables members to pool their purchasing power, negotiating better rates and terms with suppliers. By facilitating seamless communication and collaboration, the buying group fosters cost savings and strengthens supplier relationships, ultimately empowering each member to access superior products and services that would otherwise be out of reach.
Problem
Without access to buying groups, businesses face challenges such as limited negotiating power, resulting in higher costs and less favorable terms from suppliers. They struggle with inefficient resource allocation, leading to wasted marketing efforts and unoptimized budgets, and lack comprehensive market insights that hinder decision-making. This absence makes it difficult to establish consistent marketing strategies, as companies cannot analyze buying group performance to identify effective tactics. Additionally, efforts to scale initiatives are hindered by the lack of repeatable processes, while fragmented communication with suppliers reduces the ability to build relationships. Ultimately, businesses miss opportunities for collaboration, limiting their capacity to share knowledge and best practices, which can impact their competitive advantage and hinder the execution of efficient, data-driven strategies.
Solution
We designed a product that can automate the identification of various influencer personas crucial to sales, enabling tailored outreach that optimizes marketing efforts. By focusing on converting leads into customers, a targeted approach can enhance revenue. Additionally, prioritizing customer retention is more cost-effective than acquiring new clients and can further boost revenue. To achieve this, it is essential to better understand the drivers of churn and enhance engagement strategies, ensuring a more effective lead nurturing process and fostering long-term customer relationships.

Integrating Key Components to Deliver a Transformative Experience
From Q3 2023 to Q3 2024, we developed several design concepts. During this period, we encountered challenges related to repetitive information and the need to consolidate multiple dashboards. We also explored the idea of creating a persona-driven dashboard that could be customized based on individual user preferences, enhancing the overall user experience.
Final Designs
The final designs of the buying group experience met the diverse needs of businesses and their users, offering a dynamic platform for tailored engagement and collaboration.
We developed detailed prospect profiles to help businesses gain insights into potential members' needs, enhancing outreach and recruitment success. Automating the identification of influencer personas allows for targeted communications with key decision-makers, optimizing marketing strategies.
We also introduced collapsible data tables and summary metrics to streamline user statuses and next best actions, improving usability and facilitating informed decision-making. The configuration page provides a centralized hub for managing buying group settings, while flyout panels enable users to add or remove personas without losing context.
Our approach to incorporating these features, ensures businesses can leverage collaborative purchasing strategies and drive better engagement and outcomes within the buying group.
